Teruel Field Immersion offers multiple lodging options, depending on which program option you select.
Hotel Botanicos**** - Family Field Immersion
If you are participating in the Family Field Immersion, you can choose to stay in an award winning 4 star hotel, located at the heart of the city. You may also choose to stay with one of our local families, if you are looking for an authentic immersive experience to boost your language proficiency. If you are coming with children, rest assure, you will also have plenty of free time for yourselves. A member of the local family is a certified camp counselor that will keep your children engaged during those times when you want to rest and take in all of Teruel’s wonders. Do not hesitate to share any special accommodations you may need.
University Residence - Student Field Immersion
Participants of the Student Field Immersion, will stay in one of the residences at a private university, with whom we have a long-lasting partnership. The facility offers spacious rooms and unique amenities to inspire learning and a safely monitored environment.
Conveniently located near many of the city’s places of interest, students will also take advantage of free time to explore the city on their own as they interact with locals, enjoy delicious treats, and enjoy the wonderful architecture. Teruel is one of the safest cities in Spain, it offers a downtown space that is free of traffic and creates a uniquely safe learning environment.
During their stay, there will be an on-site program representative certified in guiding students of all ages, both in the U.S. and abroad, through every twist and turn. The advisor will provide assistance both from a language perspective, as well as during their adaption phase into the new culture.
